Manuscript Evaluation: This is a quick, market-oriented analysis of your idea, theme, plot. etc.

Developmental Editing: Shapes the overall structure of your project.

Ghostwriting: expands the author’s writing by adding to the overall content of the book.

Editing/Copyediting: Includes grammar, word usage, capitalization, word breaks, tone, and format. We make sure the text conforms to the accepted style of its genre-such as APA, Chicago, MLA, etc.

Proofreading: involves the identification and correction of typographical errors, punctuation errors, misspellings, and formatting for the final draft. This step is vital, as it is the process that is most overlooked.

Substantive editing: Achieves clarity of subject, logic, and consistency. Confusing and awkward writing may be reworked. Sentences are analyzed for structure/syntax. Long sentences may be enumerated or separated. We provide substantive editing to look for inconsistencies, faulty logic, fact-checking, and error in scripture (For Christian publications). It also eliminates wordiness, repetition, and unnecessary tangents; We smooth out rough transitions and areas that feel choppy or abrupt, while maintaining the author’s original vision and voice.
