Our History

April 2002- Daphney Chaney received her call from God. 
June 2004- Joined Higher Dimension Church in Houston, Texas 
July 2005- Affirmed by Pastor Terrance Johnson of Higher Dimension Church and served in Christian education, Intercessory Prayer, Decision time Counselor, Women's Ministry Core Leadership, Evangelism/Outreach, Preaching ministry, Baby dedications.   
March 2009-Licensed and Ordained Minister at Higher Dimension Church under the tutelage of Pastor Terrance Johnson. 
2009-Partnership with Prison ministries of Fountain of Praise, Lakewood, and Windsor Village to minister in prisons, and worked with TDCJ to certify others for prison ministry.
April 2009- Intentionally You! Youth and Young Adult ministry was birthed. Hosting teen and young adult conferences, worships, seminars, outreaches to facilitate self-esteem empowerment, abstinence, dating abuse awareness and prevention, anger management, generational healing, business and financial literacy, and college preparation. Our first youth conference 80 teens gave their lives to Christ. 
2009-Sought after speaker for youth/young adults for schools, colleges, universities, and faith-based organizations to include: HISD PISD, FBISD, Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority on dating violence at University of Houston, National Social Workers of Texas, Beatrice Mayes Institute, & National Women of Achievement. 
2009- Guest Speaker on AOTV. 
2010- Facilitated in-home small group Bible studies, and trainings in prayer and spiritual warfare with over 30 in attendance weekly.
2010- First appearance on Great Day Houston with Debra Duncan. 
2010- Intentionally You, LLC. held its first highly successful campaign against teen dating abuse. 
2010- Assisted in developing curriculums for DESTINY youth camp in Liberia, Africa.
2011-Invited to be the guest speaker on Great Day Houston with host Debra Duncan.
2012- Served as Associate Pastor for Word of Life Ministry under Pastor Valyan-assisting and planning church
activities, outreach, revivals, conferences, special events, prayer services, and preached the word of God.
2012- Held our second highly successful campaign against teen dating abuse-extending to all forms of family violence with teen girls from juvenile centers and other invited teens.  
2014- Published author of Intentionally Becoming a Young Woman of Faith, and birthed Fathering the Future boys/Young Men's organization-bringing together men from all walks of life to mentor, inspire, and empower boys and young men. Our first conference/Workshops resulted in 50 young men saved. Daphney M. Chaney International Ministries was also birthed. 
2015- Hosted the Intentional Living Blog Talk Radio Show and published Breaking Generational Cycles and Securing Generational Blessings. 
2016- New Generation House of Prayer Global Ministries was birthed and Ordained Pastor- Installed by Pastor W. L. Valyan and Pastor Wanda Valyan. 
2016- First Bible Study for New Generation House of Prayer was held in Humble Texas. We quickly branched to two services in two locations. la Madeleine conference room in Pearland, Texas and Olive Garden conference room in Humble, Texas. 
2016- Launched the 12-hour monthly prayer conference call.
2016- The first When Women Wail prayer conference was held in Houston, Texas.  
2017- NG House of Prayer Weekly Bible Study relocated to George Memorial library in Richmond, Texas.
2017- The second When Women Wail prayer conference was held in Houston, Texas.
2018-2021- We began virtual streaming bible studies and facilitating in person trainings in the prophetic, deliverance, spiritual warfare, counseling and coaching sessions. 
2019- Held the first Help! I'm Raising an Angry Son summit with those in detention centers and juvenile homes, from across the state. 
June 2021-Published 3rd book, Religion Interrupted. 
February 2021-Started our YouTube Channel under Daphney Chaney. .
September 2022- Guest speaker for the Believer's Talk TV show in Baton Rouge, LA.
10-2022 We will launch our first Sunday service in-person and online, while still streaming Wednesday night Bible Studies.
